Oakland, Calif. – March 10, 2022: Spirit Airlines has announced a new route between OAK and San Diego. Seats are on sale now, and daily flights begin on May 25, 2022 using Spirit’s Airbus 319/320/321 airliners with 8 “Big Front” and up to 220 standard seats.
Southbound – Daily: Depart OAK 1:30 PM – Arrive SAN 2:50 PM
Northbound – Daily: Depart SAN 10:56 AM – Arrive OAK 12:21 PM
“We know that our passengers value easy, convenient, and affordable flights between OAK and Southern California.” says Bryant L. Francis, Director of Aviation at the Port of Oakland. “San Diego has historically been one of the top routes from OAK and the new Spirit flight is a welcome addition.”
This new San Diego route marks the seventh that Spirit offers at OAK. Others include Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County, Chicago, Houston, and Philadelphia.
