Fly Nonstop from OAK to Europe or Hawaii this Summer and ‘Park Free’ for Up to Five Days
Travelers receive up to $110 in added value by flying from OAK
Oakland, CA – April 9, 2014 – This summer, Oakland International Airport (OAK) offers travelers new nonstop service to Europe and more flights than ever to Hawaii. As a value-added option for Bay Area travelers, OAK is offering passengers flying nonstop to Europe and Hawaii up to five days of free parking in the Airport’s Daily Lot.
“This summer will be historic for the Bay Area as we welcome OAK’s first scheduled nonstop transatlantic service to Stockholm and Oslo, along with additional flights to all four of Hawaii’s major islands,” said Port of Oakland Director of Aviation Deborah Ale Flint. “This new service will provide new opportunities for travelers to take advantage of the convenience of OAK when flying to Europe and Hawaii.”
To celebrate the new service, OAK is offering travelers flying from OAK to Europe and Hawaii departing between May 1-July 31, 2014, on Norwegian’s new nonstop service to Stockholm and Oslo, or Hawaiian Airlines’ or Alaska Airlines’ nonstop flights to all four major Hawaiian Islands, up to five (5) days of free parking in OAK’s Daily Lot – a $110 value.
To take advantage of these promotions, travelers must visit oaklandairport.com/parkfree to register and download a printable coupon. Customers should take a ticket when entering the Daily Lot, rather than insert a credit/debit card, and be sure to bring both the printed Park Free coupon and a printed copy of their qualifying round-trip flight itinerary to present these to a cashier when exiting the Daily Lot upon their return.
“On-airport parking is always the quickest and fastest way to park at OAK. This promotion is our way of saying thank you to Bay Area customers for making OAK the airport of choice,” Ale Flint said.
In addition to this promotion for Europe and Hawaii-bound customers, OAK recently announced a separate Park Free promotion for travelers flying nonstop to Seattle now through June 30.
