Jack London Square transforms into the A’s FanFest Saturday

Oakland, CA – (January 27, 2017): Jack London Square at the Oakland waterfront is the new location for A’s FanFest scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is the pre-season where fans hear from A’s executives and mingle with players and coaches.

“We’re delighted that the A’s organization selected Jack London Square as the new site for its fans to celebrate the team’s 2017 season,” said Pamela Kershaw, Port of Oakland Director of Commercial Real Estate.

It is the first time in more than a decade that the A’s will host their free annual festival at the Oakland waterfront amongst the palm trees, boats, and views of the Oakland Estuary.

According to the A’s, the event includes opportunities to have a free photo taken with a player, coach, mascot or World Series trophy. The festival includes a children’s area with interactive games.

Jack London Square is home to more than 55 free public events and festivals throughout the year.
