Oakland, Calif. – September 7, 2023: Avianca Airlines announced that it will commence four times weekly seasonal service from Oakland International Airport to San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL). Service will begin December 11, 2023 through January 29, 2024. The airline will operate the Airbus A320 NEO seating 180 passengers on the route featuring Premium, Economy Plus and Economy. The winter flights will follow the schedule below:
-Depart OAK 11:00 PM – Arrive SAL 6:30 AM (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
-Depart SAL 5:45 PM – Arrive OAK 9:50 PM (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
