Since 1927, the Port has been the steward of nearly 20 miles of waterfront property along San Francisco Bay and the Oakland Estuary. Our Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Division is transforming some of the properties, formerly used for industrial purposes, into dynamic new development through private investment dollars.
The CRE Division manages a diverse portfolio of approximately 100+/- tenant agreements, including hotels, retail uses, restaurants, offices, parks and other public access areas. Warehouses, parking lots, and vacant land are being converted into hotels, offices, shops, restaurants, parks, food courts and industrial flex/research centers.
