Oakland, Calif. – February 23, 2023: As part of a robust OAK schedule for Summer 2023, Spirit Airlines announced new daily nonstop service between OAK and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas (DFW) beginning May 5th, 2023. The news is very welcome by airport officials, as Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is one of OAK’s largest unserved markets. The airport estimates over 1,000 East Bay passengers fly between the two airports every day. The new daily flight presents a convenient option to Fly the East Bay Way on Spirit’s fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft seating 182 passengers. Seats are now on sale at Spirit.com.

Westbound – Daily: Depart DFW 3:10 PM – Arrive OAK 4:58 PM

Ahead of the peak summer season, Spirit has added a fourth daily nonstop between OAK and Las Vegas, returned to the seasonal Chicago route, and brought back in-demand transcontinental flights to New York/Newark and Philadelphia as well.
