The Maritime Committee of the Board of Port Commissioners is a standing committee of the Board and reports directly to the Board. It is comprised of three Board members appointed by the President of the Board, one of whom serves as the Chair. The Committee meets once a month, or as otherwise convened by the Chair.

The purpose of the Maritime Committee is to thoroughly review and make recommendations with regard to strategic and policy level decisions.
