Port of Oakland Executive Director Tay Yoshitani explained that focusing on the "triple bottom line" has been one of his highest priorities, "Our work here is about balance. We're committed to boosting the economy, creating social equity and caring for the environment. This report clearly demonstrates that the Port's Sustainability Policy is now an important and integral part of our strategic planning and day-to-day operations."
