On November 17, 2009, the Board of Port Commissioners approved a revised edition of the PORT OF OAKLAND STANDARD CONTRACT PROVISIONS FOR PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS. These provisions are incorporated by reference in the project manuals for all Port of Oakland public works projects (for details of project-specific modifications to the Standard Contract Provisions, see the Document 00800, Supplementary Conditions, included in each project manual).
Knowledge of these Standard Contract Provisions and other contract requirements included in the project-specific Project Manual is essential for all contractors bidding and undertaking construction work for the Port of Oakland.
