The "Breakfast of Champions" is a gathering of consultants and contractors interested in construction related business opportunities in the East Bay. The group meets for breakfast, structured networking and a presentations by public or private developers on the last Thursday of each month.
It is the mission of the Breakfast of Champions (BOC) to provide a forum for business development and career growth in the environmental, planning, design, construction, construction management and related professions in the East Bay. BOC, as a volunteer and not-for-profit organization, will present or discuss future projects and market trends that foster networking and team building.

Speaker   Mr. Thomas D. Horton, Group Manager for the BART Earthquake Safety Program
Prior to his current position at BART, Tom worked on BART’s San Francisco Airport extension. Tom also served with the Los Angeles MTA on construction of its Red Line subway and for the US Army Corps of Engineers.
